49ers Sign DL B.J. McBryde To Two-Year Deal

The San Francisco 49ers announced that they’ve signed DL B.J. McBryde to a two-year contract on Friday.

McBryde, 24, originally signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Connecticut back in May of last year. He lasted just a few months in Philadelphia before he was placed on waivers from the non-football injury list.

The Packers signed him to a future/reserve contract back in January, but waived him earlier in the week.

During his four-year college career, McBryde recorded 33 tackles, two tackles for a loss and a pass defense over the course of 15 games.

McBryde has yet to appear in an NFL game.
