Tom Pelissero of USA Today reports that the 49ers have agreed to terms with fourth-round RB Joe Williams Wednesday.
According to OverTheCap.com, Williams will receive a four-year contract worth $3,029,384 that includes a signing bonus of $629,384.
Williams becomes the first player from the 2017 draft class to sign his rookie contract since the draft officially ended this past weekend.
Williams, 23, was selected with the No. 121 overall pick by the 49ers in this year’s draft. San Francisco actually traded up to get Williams.
During his college career at Utah, Williams rushed for 1,884 yards on 314 carries to go along with 20 receptions for 191 yards receiving and 13 total touchdowns over the course of two seasons.
