The San Francisco 49ers announced Tuesday night that they have signed OLB Aaron Lynch and DT Kaleb Ramsey to four-year contracts.
The 49ers grabbed Lynch in the fifth round of last week’s draft. He appeared in 24 games while at the University of South Florida and totaled 63 tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a single fumble recovery.
There appears to be a decent enough chance that Lynch’s rookie season could be a red-shirt year in the NFL.
Ramsey was a seventh-round pick out of Boston College. He appeared in 41 games and totaled 90 tackles, 6.5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss over the course of his college career.
