49ers Sign Third-Round Pick C Marcus Martin

The 49ers announced the signing of third-round pick C Marcus Martin on Thursday.

San Francisco has now locked up their entire 2014 draft class, which is actually somewhat impressive given that they selected 12 players.

Martin’s four-year contract is worth an estimated $3,058,352 and includes a signing bonus of $671,252, according to OverTheCap.com.

Leading up to the draft, some felt Martin had a chance to come off the board in the early part of round one. The NFL even invited him to the draft, but Martin unfortunately lasted a little longer than expected.

Even so, Martin has to feel good about landing in San Francisco and having an opportunity to possibly takeover for a few players next year.
