49ers Trade S Taylor Mays To The Bengals

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the San Francisco 49ers have found a trade partner for S Taylor Mays in the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals will send an undisclosed draft pick to the 49ers for Mays.

Cincinnati had interest in Mays back in 2010 so it makes sense that they would attempt to acquire him for a reasonable price. The Bengals could keep Mays at safety despite his struggles in pass coverage. There where some suggestions that he should move to linebacker given his size and speed but Cincy will likely try him out before making any changes.
