Of this group, the 49ers elected to sign Lokombo and Stribling to their practice squad.

Robinson, 27, wound up signing on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of West Texas A&M back in 2013. He managed to make the team’s 53-man roster in all three years with the Saints.

The Jets ultimately signed him to a one-year, $1.175 million contract as a free agent last year. However, he was waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason.

New York later signed him to a two-year, $1,950,000 deal and he was set to make a base salary of $775,000 in 2017 when the team cut him loose this past March.

In 2016, Robinson appeared in one game and ran for 22 yards on eight carries (2.8 YPC) and no touchdowns.

Golson, 23, was taken in the second round by the Steelers in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was in the second year of his four-year, $4.001 million rookie contract when the Steelers cut him loose in October of last year.

Golson underwent surgery back in August and was expected to miss four months with a Lisfranc injury. He also missed all of 2015 with a shoulder injury.

The Buccaneers signed Golson to their practice squad last week before just recently cutting him loose.

During his four-year college career at Ole Miss, Golson recorded 130 total tackles, six tackles for loss, 0.5 sack, 16 interceptions, 11 pass defenses, and scored one defensive touchdown.
