The San Francisco 49ers officially waived CB Prince Charles Iworah from injured reserve on Saturday.
Iworah, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2016. He was waived coming out of the preseason last year and he spent the majority of the year on the team’s practice squad before being called up in late December.
The 49ers once again waived him at the start of the 2017 regular season and later reverted to their injured reserve with after clearing waivers.
In 2016, Iworah appeared in one game and recorded one tackle for the 49ers.
