The San Francisco 49ers announced Tuesday that they’ve waived WR Victor Bolden and CB Greg Mabin.
Bolden, 23, signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State back in May of last year. He is in the second year of a three-year, $1.66 million contract and is set to earn a base salary of $555,000 this season.
Bolden was suspended the first four games of the 2018 season for violating the league performance-enhancing drug policy.
In 2018, Bolden has appeared in four games for the 49ers and caught one pass for 10 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
