49ers Worked Out Veteran OLB Parys Haralson

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the San Francisco 49ers worked out veteran OLB Parys Haralson on Monday.

Haralson, 31, is a former fifth round pick of the 49ers back in 2006. He spent six season in San Francisco before he was later traded to the Saints at the start of the 2013 season.

New Orleans elected to sign him to a one-year contract worth $920,000 back in February, but he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts.

In 2014, he appeared all 16 games for the Saints and recorded 36 tackles, three sacks, and a fumble recovery. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 22 outside linebacker in 4-3 system out of 40 qualifying players.
