Kirk Morrison
The Buffalo Bills have announced that they’ve re-signed LB Kirk Morrison to a two-year contract extension.
Morrison , 30, was able to provide some added depth to the team’s linebackers last season and manged to play in 14 games despite being relegated to a limited role.
Turk McBride
Larry Holder reports that the New Orleans Saints re-signed DE Turk McBride to a one-year contract.
McBride, 27, finished his first season with the Saints with only 2 sacks and played in only 8 games for the team. The Saints need help on the defensive line so retaining McBride to a presumed cheap contract probably isn’t a bad move on their part.
Guy Whimper
Aaron Wilson of Scount.com reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars have re-signed OT Guy Whimper to a two-year deal that’s worth $5 million.
Whimper wound up starting 15 games for the Jaguars last season but didn’t exactly put together the greatest season as Pro Football Focus has him down for 15 sacks allowed. The teams’ pass protection has to get better next season if they have any hopes of Blaine Gabbert showing signs of improvement.
Vince Manuwai
Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reports that the Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms with former Jaguars G Vince Manuwai.
William Robinson
Paul Kuharsky tweets that the Jaguars have re-signed OT William Robinson to a two-year contract.
Robinson, 27, has only played in one NFL and will most likely have to compete for a roster spot next season but the team obviously feels that he has some potential.
