Panthers Sign Two Draft Picks Including Second-Round WR Curtis Samuel

The Carolina Panthers announced Friday that they’ve signed second-round WR Curtis Samuel and third-round DE Daeshon Hall to four-year contracts.

Samuel, 20, was taken with the No. 40 overall pick by the Panthers in this year’s NFL draft. The expectation is that he will be primarily used as a slot receiver in Carolina, despite the fact that he played running back at Ohio State.

According to OverTheCap.com, Williams will receive a four-year contract worth $6,453,660 that includes a signing bonus of $2,833,572.

During his college career, Samuel rushed for 1,286 yards to go along with 107 receptions for 1,249 yards receiving and 24 total touchdowns.
