Dolphins Sign Fifth-Round OL Isaac Asiata

The Miami Dolphins have signed fifth-round OL Isaac Asiata to a four-year contract on Friday, according to Armando Salguero.

Asiata, 24, was selected with the No. 164 overall pick by the Dolphins in this year’s draft. Some felt he could come off the board has high as the third round and Miami was apparently surprised to see him still available in round five, as they elected to trade up to get him.

According to OverTheCap.com, Williams will receive a four-year contract worth $2,660,800 that includes a signing bonus of $260,800.

During his college career at Utah, Asiata started 42 games with most of them coming at guard. Although, he did see some time at left tackle. He was voted as the top offensive lineman in the Pac-12 and won the Morris Trophy.
