Buccaneers Waive RB Dalton Crossan From IR With Settlement

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially waived RB Dalton Crossan from injured reserve with a settlement on Friday.

Crossan, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of New Hampshire back in May of last year. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the agreement when he was waived with an injury designation and later reverted to the Colts’ injured reserve list.

Indianapolis waived Crossan soon after and he later signed a futures contract with the Buccaneers. Unfortunately, Tampa Bay waived him with an injury designation last week and he reverted to their injured reserve list.

Crossan has yet to appear in an NFL game.
