A Number Of Teams Showing Interest In Cleveland’s #4 Overall Pick

Mark Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that both the Philadelphia Eagles and the St Louis Rams are “believed to be” interested in moving to get the Browns #4 overall pick.

Cabot mentions that there’s a “decent chance” that Cleveland will trade out of the #4 spot and “at least three or four” teams within the Top 20 have at least checked in on the availability of their pick.

There’s been some talk that the Eagles have interest in Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill, but moving up to #4 for him would be pretty costly. As for the Rams, it’s still hard to say who their targeting at the top of the draft, but they have said that they’re open to moving up if the right deal presents itself. LSU CB Morris Claiborne, Alabama RB Trent Richardson, or Oklahoma State WR Justin Blackmon are all in play for them.

Cabot adds that the Kansas City Chiefs are “probably not” going to move up for Tannehill, despite previous reports have suggested that have suggested he could be one of their top targets.

Any trade will most likely happen on the day of the draft, but it’s really to say if the team’s are legitimately interested in moving up to #4, or if this was just some more smoke released by the Browns.
