Aaron Hernandez Seen Without Protective Boot

On Wednesday, Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was spotted in the locker room talking with reporters without any sort of protective boot around his injured ankle, per ESPNBoston.com.

Hernandez has previously been seen with a protective walking boot on, so this appears to be a good sign for him and the Patriots. It’s been less than two weeks since Hernandez suffered a high-ankle sprain, a injury that usually takes four-to-six weeks to recover from, so it’s great that Hernandez is able to move around without the support of a boot. He’s still weeks away from returning, but at least beginning to show signs of early progress.
