According to Pro Football Talk, the Saints will go with offensive line coach Aaron Kromer as their interim head coach, while Joe Vitt serves his six-game suspension.
They are both replacing Sean Payton, who has been suspended for the season for covering up a bounty scandal. Steve Spagnuolo will serve as defensive coordinator, with Pete Carmichael overseeing the offense.
According to PFT, the Saints offense actually played better under Pete Carmichael than they did with Sean Payton calling plays.
