Aaron Rodgers Will Start Week 17’s Game

Packers HC Mike McCarthy announced that Aaron Rodgers has been cleared and will start against the Bears in Week 17.

Paul Imig of FOX Sports WI reports that a source has informed him that Aaron Roders will start against the Bears on Sunday.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers practiced on Thursday and took each of the first reps during the individual drills portion of Thursday’s practice, according to Rob Demovsky.

Multiple national reporters have mentioned that there is more optimism this week regarding Rodgers’ status than in almost two months since he suffered a fractured collarbone.

HC Mike McCarthy is expected to announce whether Rodgers will play against the Bears this weekend in a winner-take-all game.
