Adam Jones Says He’d Like To Re-Sign With Bengals, No Talks Yet

Bengals impending free agent CB Adam Jones said Monday that he wants to re-sign with the team in the coming months, per Geoff Hobson.

However, Jones added that there have been no talks with the team about a potential return up to this point.

This comes just a few days after Jones was flagged for bumping an official, which aided the Steelers’ comeback win on Saturday.

Jones, 32, played out his three-year contract with the Bengals and will be an unrestricted free agent in the coming months.

Despite his advanced age, Jones has actually played pretty well for the Bengals, so it will be interesting to see if they’re interested in bringing him back.

In 2015, Jones appeared in 14 games for the Bengals and recorded 62 tackles, one sack, three interceptions, a forced fumble and 12 pass defenses. He also contributed 235 kick return yards and 179 punt return yards. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 16 cornerback out of 118 qualifying players.

  1. He’s a criminal and can’t control himself even if it would benefit his team. So, I’m sure Cincy will resign him to keep their playiff streak alive. Ha!

  2. That’s the problem with this team knowbody is accountable and it starts at the top. It’s not about taking crap from steelers it’s about winning games with SMART PLAYERS not goons running wild.

  3. Pacman is the best player on the team and plays the hardest every snap. I love him and hope he comes back. Not to mention he wont take crap from steelers. Got my vote!!!!!

    • Nah, he’ll just shoot them in the spine and paralyze them for life. You guys just don’t get it and that’s why you are perennial losers. Go throw beer bottles at an injured player.

  4. Sure he wants to stay he can act like a goon and this team doesn’t care what he does on the field. If it were my team he would have been let go immediately after game with Burfett and no coach Lewis. Pathetic display of sportsmanship
