Adrian Peterson Believes He Has A “50-50” Chance Of Participating In Training Camp

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson believes that he has a “50-50” chance of participating in the team’s training camp.

I feel like I will be able to get out there and you call a run play or whatever, I’ll be able to go through practice. That’s how I feel. That’s my mindset,” said Peterson, per Josina Anderson. “But I’m going to follow the protocol. Whatever the Vikings and their staff want me to do, then I’m gonna do that; but I’m not going to hinder myself. I’m going to let those guys know how I feel.

Peterson’s coming off of a very serious injury in which he torn both his ACL and MCL last season. In recent weeks, Peterson has shown some incredibly positive signs, after joining teams for straight line running drills. Even if he’s able to participate in training camp, the Vikings are going to be extra cautious with Pro Bowl running back, as having him available at some point during the season is their top priority.
