Adrian Peterson’s Knee Progressing Well

Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is showing signs he’ll be ready for the teams season opener. Peterson has been practicing without contact for over a week now and hasn’t experienced any swelling in his knee following the day after practice, according to Jeremy Fowler.

This is great news for the Vikings. Typically, players returning from an ACL tear experience soreness or swelling. If Peterson can get through the full contact practices without any setbacks, expect him to have an impact on the Vikings in week one.
