AFC Notes: Bengals, Browns, Chargers, Chiefs

Bengals

Bengals offensive coordinator Bill Lazor explained that being without WR A.J. Green (toe) will force them to get creative to help their other players pick up the slack.

“Every time we’ve lost someone we’ve tried to be creative to pick up the slack and get the next guys to help us move on,” Lazor said. “It’s kind of happened a few times this year already. This is football and it keeps moving, the most important thing is long term we have to keep getting better. Somehow we are going to look back on this practice day with who we had practicing today and it will help propel us to what we are going to be later.”

Reports have said that Green is expected to miss at least two games with a toe injury.

• The Cincinnati Bengals officially ruled out LB Vontaze Burfict (hip), CB Darqueze Dennard (sternoclavicular), WR A.J. Green (toe), TE Tyler Kroft (foot), WR Josh Malone (hamstring), and LB Nick Vigil (knee) for Sunday’s game against the Saints and list G Alex Redmond (hamstring) as doubtful. Bengals RB Giovani Bernard (knee) is questionable for Week 10.

Browns

• The Cleveland Browns officially list T Desmond Harrison (illness), TE David Njoku (knee, ribs), S Damarious Randall (groin), LB Joe Schobert (ankle), WR Da’Mari Scott (shoulder), C J.C. Tretter (ankle), and CB Denzel Ward (hip) as questionable for Week 10.

Chargers

• The Los Angeles Chargers officially ruled out DE Joey Bosa (foot) and list LB Kyle Emanuel (hip), DE Chris Landrum (hip), DT Darius Philon (ankle), and CB Trevor Williams (knee) as questionable.

• The Kansas City Chiefs officially ruled out C Mitch Morse (concussion) for Sunday’s game against the Cardinals and list S Eric Berry (heel) as doubtful.
