AFC Notes: Bengals, Colts, Raiders

Bengals

Bengals former first-round pick Cedric Ogbuehi tells Jim Owczarski of the Cincinnati Enquirer that he thinks playing right tackle could be a better fit for him moving forward.

“With this technique, the right side is kind of better for me, using the hands more,” Ogbuehi said. “With the old technique, I think the left was a little bit (better).

“Coming in at right, at a new position, I felt comfortable. Feeling comfortable is a big part of it. I played it. I know what to expect now. I know a lot; like what to do better than last time. I’m excited for the challenge. I’m excited for camp.

Colts

New Colts TE Eric Ebron says he lined up “everywhere” during offseason workouts.

“Everywhere,” Ebron said, via George Bremer of the Herald Bulletin. “Everywhere except the backfield. I’m still trying to get a hand off. But I’ll work on it.

Colts HC Frank Reich said he loves Ebron’s attitude and the energy he brings to the team.

“I love his attitude,” Reich said. “He’s got a lot of energy about him to the game. I think it comes to the whole team. So I feel good about that. His leadership coming here — his first year with us — I think he has had some good leadership on our offense with his energy and his big-play ability. So we are really, really excited about him.

Raiders

Raiders S Karl Joseph says that the team’s new defensive scheme under Paul Guenther allows them to play fast and be “very aggressive” against opposing offenses.

First of all, learning our responsibilities. That’s the first thing. This defense allows you to make plays. There are so many moving gadgets. So many blitzes. It’s very aggressive. It allows us to play fast and be around the ball to make plays,” Joseph said, via RaidersWire.com.
