AFC Notes: Bengals, Colts, Titans

Bengals

Bengals DE Carlos Dunlap says he “would love” a contract extension in place and finish his career in Cincinnati.

“I would love to get it done. I would love to finish my career here as a Bengal,” Dunlap said, per Katherine Terrell. “We’ve done some great things. Right now I’m the (Bengals) career leader (in official sacks) as a defensive end. I would like to extend that gap between me and the next. We just want to focus on that and worry about the rest later. Right now we’re in camp and back to football so I’m just enjoying that moment and letting my agent handle that with the owners.”

We have him featured in our Top 25 – 2019 NFL Free Agents list.

Colts

  • Stephen Holder reports that there’s no indication that the Colts will sign free agent CB Bashaud Breeland at this point.
  • Holder’s sense is the Colts will stand pat with the group of corners they have and he’d be surprised if they signed someone like Breeland.
  • We have Breeland featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.

Titans

  • Sources tell Omar Ruiz that the Titans do not have any interest in signing WR Dez Bryant, even though a few of their receivers are dealing with injuries.
  • However, Ruiz adds that the Titans wouldn’t rule out the possibility of adding someone like Bryant down the road if needed.
  • Field Yates reports that three Titans received the following bonuses on Monday: QB Marcus Mariota ($3,031,905), OT Jack Conklin ($1,265,242) and WR Corey Davis ($1,064,307).
