AFC Notes: Bills, Dolphins, Ravens

Bills

Bills HC Sean McDermott told reporters on Wednesday that appreciates RB LeSean McCoy’s accountability, despite being benched for the start of Week 16’s game.

“It happens from time to time, nobody’s perfect,” McDermott said, via Pro Football Talk. “I appreciate him being accountable.

“I don’t believe that’s the case,” McDermott added. “I’m really excited about where this team is going and looking forward to LeSean being a part of that. I know this year isn’t what he hoped it would be. The biggest thing I want to see is what we need to do to get it back to where it needs to be. I think he’s committed to that cause, as are we.”

Dolphins

Ravens

Ravens veteran OLB Terrell Suggs, who will be a free agent in 2019, says he doesn’t have the “itch” to retire at this point.

“I don’t feel that itch,” Suggs said, via ESPN.com. “Ain’t no hair standing up on the back of my neck right there.

Suggs added that he hasn’t given much thought to the possibility that this could be his final regular-season game with the Ravens.

“Nah, there’s a lot of things that are always a possibility,” Suggs said. “You can’t really harp on the negative. It possibly could but that hasn’t crossed my mind like, ‘Oh my God.’ We’ve got business to handle. We’ll cross every bridge when it’s time to come there.”
