AFC Notes: Colts, Dolphins, Minkah Fitzpatrick

Colts

  • Albert Breer reports the Colts are expected to hire former Titans OC Jason Michael as their next tight ends coach.

Minkah Fitzpatrick

Dolphins’ first-round DB Minkah Fitzpatrick said that he would like to know if he will play safety or cornerback next season.

I would like to know by January or February,” Fitzpatrick said, via Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

Fitzpatrick added that he lost 10 pounds in order to play cornerback, but would like to add around 10 pounds if he ends up playing safety in 2019.

I lost 10 pounds playing cornerback because I moved faster, chasing guys around,” said Fitzpatrick. “If I’m playing safety, maybe 8 to 10 pounds more [is better] so I have a little extra thud.

Dolphins
