Broncos HC Vance Joseph said recently that former second-round WR Carlos Henderson needs to decide “if he wants to continue playing football.”
“With Carlos, he’s having some family problems right now,” Joseph said, via BroncosWire.com. “It’s strictly on Carlos if he wants to continue to play football, if he wants to come back to camp and compete. That’s strictly personal with Carlos.
“We lost two guys and we added two guys at receiver, so we’re at ninety and we’re moving on and we’re focused.”
- On Sunday, Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders said he reached out to Henderson, but couldn’t get ahold of him. Sanders added that he’s isn’t sure if Henderson will return to the team. (Troy Renck)
Chiefs S Eric Berry explained that he’s learned a lot from the injuries he’s dealt with over the course of his NFL career and he’s learned to “just keep on trucking.”
“You really can’t wonder where you would be,” Berry said, via the Kansas City Star. “There’s no telling. Because I learned so much throughout all three of those processes — including this one — and I just keep growing. I can’t really tell you where I would be without them.”
- Raiders CB Gareon Conley is dealing with a “hip strain,” according to DC Paul Guenther. However, Guenther added that he shouldn’t be out too long. (Michael Gehlken)
