Ahmad Bradshaw Sat Out Practice Thursday, Will Play Sunday

According to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPNNewYork.com, Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw will practice on Friday and ultimately will play Sunday against the Cowboys.

Bradshaw’s option to sit out practice Thursday was purely for precautionary reasons. It’s unclear though if Bradshaw will be a full-go in practice on Friday or if he’ll be limited. Since he sat out today and plans to play on Sunday, the assumption would be that he’d be limited tomorrow in practice to insure his foot soreness is down for Sunday.

Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw opted to sit out practice Thursday as he wanted to manage the soreness in his foot and prevent any setbacks from occuring, per Jenny Vrentas.

It’s worth noting that head coach Tom Coughlin had expected Bradshaw to practice today, so his foot must be sorer than expected. Still, Bradshaw says he’ll be able to practice Friday and it doesn’t appear that he’ll miss Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. Look for the Giants to manage Bradshaw’s workload by getting running backs David Wilson and Andre Brown more involved on the ground.
