Alex Smith is “Doing Much Better” On Monday

49ers QB Alex Smith is “doing much better” following the concussion that he suffered against the Rams on Sunday.

(He’s) doing much better, had a good night’s sleep last night,” coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday, via CSN Bay Area. “And symptoms are positive today. He’s visiting with a neurologist later this afternoon.”

Smith was reportedly dealing blurred vision during the game, which forced the team to turn to Colin Kaepernick. San Francisco doesn’t play until Monday, so there’s still a chance that Smith could suit up against Chicago. We’ll have more updates later in the week.
