The Philadelphia Eagles have quickly turned into of the NFL’s biggest stories for all the wrong reasons. A 1-4 start has left them in a difficult hole to dig out of despite being an early favorite for the NFC crown.
Eagles head coach Andy Reid appears to be willing to accept the blame for the teams poor performance but questions are beginning to surface regarding his future with the team. Reid seems to understand the criticism.
“In the National Football League, your job is on the line every week, man,” said Reid during his post-game interview, via the Philadelphia Daily News.
Despite the slow start, there’s actually time to right the ship as they’re currently only two games back of the division leading New York Giants. Philly still has another seven division games left on their schedule so they need to focus on cleaning up their numerous mistakes and get focused on the remaining games otherwise there will be serious talks about Reid’s future with the team.
