The Times of Northwest Indiana reports that former Steelers WR Antwaan Randle El has made the decision to call it a career and retire for the NFL.
He’s expected to make an official announcement next Saturday.
Randle El, 33, contributed in many ways over the course of his career. He spent time as a punt returner, receiver and a quarterback. He tallied 6 return touchdowns, to go with 30 combined rushing and receiving, and another 6 passes touchdown. Given that he was never viewed as a special talent at a specific position, he certainly put together a pretty productive career.
