Arian Foster Plans To Be Patient In Free Agency, Sign With A Team Later On

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, citing a source with knowledge of the situation, reports that free agent RB Arian Foster’s plans to be patient in finding a new team and wait until later in the offseason to decide.

Florio mentions that this is probably a smart move for Foster, given that he’s coming off of a torn Achilles, but should be 100 percent this summer.

Foster, 29, was in the final year of his five-year, $43.5 million contract that included $20.75 million guaranteed when he was released in a move that freed up $6,625,000 in cap space for the Texans.

In 2015, Foster ran for 163 yards on 63 carries (2.6 YPC) to go along with 22 receptions for 227 yards receiving and and three touchdowns.

We have him featured in our Top 2016 Free Agents list.
