———-

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Arizona State WR Jaelen Strong has a fractured bone in his wrist that will likely require surgery at some point.

  • Rapoport adds that Strong is one of the players headed for combine rechecks this weekend.

Strong is among the players that have received an invitation to this year’s draft in Chicago and is in the discussion to be a first-round pick. As long as things check out this weekend, it wouldn’t be surprising to hear his name called on Day one of the draft.

Some speculative landing spots for Strong include the Dolphins, Texans, Browns, Eagles, Ravens, Saints and Patriots.

During his two years at Arizona State, Strong caught 157 passes for 2,287 yards receiving and 17 touchdowns.
