Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham Officially Declares For 2019 NFL Draft

Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham officially announced Tuesday that he’s entering the 2019 draft. 


Matt Zenitz of AL.com reports that Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham plans to declare for the 2019 NFL Draft and forgo his final year of eligibility.

According to Zenitz, it remains to be seen whether Stidham will play in the Music City Bowl for Auburn. Sources tell Zentiz that some inside the Auburn building do currently expect him to play in the game.

Stidham came into the season as one of the top quarterback prospects and a likely first-round pick. However, he had a disappointing year that included declines in all of the major statistical categories.

During his college career at Baylor and Auburn, Stidham completed 64.1 percent of his passes for 6,844 yards, 43 touchdowns and 13 interceptions to go along with a quarterback rating of 147.6 over the course of three seasons and 36 games. He also rushed for 218 yards and nine touchdowns.
