Austin Collie Should Be Ready For Week One

According to a tweet by Phillip B Wilson, Colts head coach Chuck Pagano mentioned that wide receiver Austin Collie will be ready for the teams season opener at Chicago.

Collie, who suffered a concussion last week, has had three concussions in the past 22 months. Even with the growing concerns of concussions within the game, it appears Collie is determined to fight through this latest head injury. One has to wonder though, how many more concussions can Collie withstand before he is forced to have an early exit from the NFL and retire?

Collie has maintained that he’ll play as long as he’s able to, so it seems like it’s going to take something pretty severe to keep him away from the game.
