According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, free agent CB Bashaud Breeland is visiting the Raiders on Sunday and Monday, and is then scheduled to travel to Kansas City for a meeting with the Chiefs on Tuesday.
Devmosky says that Breeland is “healthy and ready to go” after the Panthers failed him on a physical back in March after they agreed to a three-year, $24 million deal.
Breeland previously visited with the Colts and Cardinals a months ago but left both trips without a deal in place.
Breeland, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Redskins back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2.706 million contract and made a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season.
Breeland is testing the free agent market for the first time in his NFL career.
In 2017, Breeland appeared in 14 games for the Redskins and recorded 48 tackles, one interception returned for a touchdown and 16 pass defenses. He also contributed 280 kick return yards. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 54 cornerback out of 120 qualifying players.
