Cardinals Will Active RB Beanie Wells From IR

Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt told reports on Monday that RB Beanie Wells will be activated from the injured reserve list, per Darren Urban.

Whisenhunt added that he expects Wells to play against the Rams in Week 12.

La’Rod Stephens-Howling had a very productive game on Sunday as he rushed for 127 yards and added a touchdown. Wells figures to take over as their No. 1 running back, but Stephens-Howling has at least earned some portion of playing time moving forward.

Mike Jurecki of XTRA Sports reports that Cardinals RB Beanie Wells appears to be on track to be activated from IR and start Week 12’s game against the Rams.

Wells has been sidelined with injuries to his toe and knee, but he’ll certainly be an upgrade over La’Rod Stephens-Howling who has been asked to take on a featured running back role following the loss of Wells and Ryan Williams.
