The Chicago Bears officially activated OLB Pernell McPhee from the physically unable to perform list on Thursday ahead of their matchup with the Packers.
- The Bears also waived FB Paul Lasike to make room for McPhee.
McPhee, 27, is in the second year of his five-year, $38.75 million contract. The deal contains $15.5 million guaranteed. He stands to make a base salary of $7 million for the 2016 season.
The Bears placed on their PUP list coming out of the preseason with a knee injury.
In 2015, McPhee appeared in 14 games for the Bears and recorded 53 tackles, six sacks, an interception, a forced fumble and three pass defenses.
