Bears Brought In Veteran DT Vance Walker For Visit

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN is reporting that the Bears recently hosted free agent DL Vance Walker for a visit.

Earlier in the day, Broncos executive VP John Elway told reporters on Monday that they’re interested in re-signing Walker. (NFLTR)

Walker, 29, is a former seventh-round pick of the Falcons back in 2009. He spent four years in Atlanta before signing on with the Raiders as an unrestricted free agent in 2013.

Walker later signed on with the Chiefs, but was cut loose this in March of last year. The Broncos later signed him to a two-year, $4 million contract. However, he, unfortunately, suffered a torn ACL during the summer and subsequently missed the entire season.

In 2015, Walker appeared in 15 games for the Broncos and recorded 33 tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble.
