Bears CB Charles Tillman Will Not Miss Week 10’s Game

It was reported earlier in the week that Bears CB Charles Tillman could sit out of Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans because he and his wife are expecting a new addition to their family.

“Hopefully this baby can stay in until after the game on Sunday,” said Tillman, via CBS Chicago. “I hope she stays in — I’m having another girl. Monday, for sure, but if she comes Sunday, I think I’m going to have to be at the hospital Sunday.”

Tillman tweeted this morning that he will play against the Texans.

“Baby is coming Monday. Don’t worry, I’ll be there Sunday,” tweeted Tillman.

There’s no question that not having Tillman in the lineup against the Texans would be a loss. He’s currently in the running for defensive player of the year and has helped the Bears get off to a great start. Sunday’s game will be a huge test for the Bears who have had the 2nd easiest schedule to this point in the season, according to our Strength of Schedule Rankings.
