Bears Waive OT Paul Cornick After Claiming Him Earlier In The Week

The Bears wound up waiving OT Paul Cornick on Thursday after he failed physical, according to the NFL transactions release.

This comes just a few days after Chicago claimed him off of waivers from the Broncos.

The Chicago Bears claimed OT Paul Cornick off of waivers from the Broncos on Tuesday, according to the NFL transactions release.

Cornick, 26, originally signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of North Dakota State back in 2012. He spent just a few months with the team before signing on to the Broncos practice squad.

Last year, Cornick appeared in 12 games for the Broncos and played a total of 309 snaps.
