Bears Cut Ties With Jerry Angelo

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports that the Chicago Bears have fired longtime GM Jerry Angelo.

Angelo’s decisions have come under question multiple times in throughout the years. This year, Angelo brought in Roy Williams and Sam Hurd  to help the teams passing game but both players where largely disappointing.

Angelo’s first hire was Lovie Smith as the teams head coach who is still with the team but there are questions as to whether he’s next in line to go. That could very be the next GM’s first decision but I’m sure we’ll hear more about his future with the team in the coming days.
