Bears DL Ego Ferguson Suspended 4 Games For PED Violation

The Chicago Bears announced that DL Ego Ferguson has been suspended four games for violating NFL policy on PEDs.

This is the third suspension by a Bears this week.

Ferguson, 24, was taken in the second round of last year’s NFL draft. He’s in the second year of his four-year, $4,113,203 rookie contract that included $1,918,384 guaranteed, and will make a base salary of $606,964 for the 2015 season.

The Bears wound up placing Ferguson on season-ending injured reserve close to a month ago with a knee injury

Ferguson’s 2015 season ended with him recording three tackles over the course of four games.
