The Chicago Bears are expected to re-sign Sam Acho to a two-year contract, according to Emmanuel Acho, Sam’s brother.

Acho, 29, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2011. He spent four years in Arizona before he signed on with the Bears as an unrestricted free agent back April of 2015.

Acho has played the past two seasons on one-year contracts with the Bears.

In 2017, Acho appeared in all 16 games for the Bears and recorded 45 tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble, and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus graded Acho as the No. 79 overall edge defender out of 106 qualifying players.
