Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that the Bears are expected to add some safety help in the form of S Ahmad Dixon, who is on the Vikings’ practice squad.
Dixon, 23, was taken in the seventh round of this year’s NFL draft by the Cowboys. However, he was unable to make the team out of training camp and was among their final roster cuts.
The Vikings later added him to their practice squad.
During his four years at Baylor, Dixon recorded 288 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, one sack, four interceptions, two forced fumbles and scored a defensive touchdown.
