Bears G Kyle Long Out 6-8 Weeks With Foot Injury

Ian Rapoport reports that Bears G Kyle Long is expected to miss 6-8 weeks after suffering a foot injury in Week 8.

Rapoport added that Long is still getting “more info” on his injury, but it appears that he will miss an extended period of time.

Long, 29, is a former first-round pick of the Bears back in 2013. He’s currently in the third year of his six-year, $50.358 million contract that included $30 million and stands to make a base salary of $6.9 million this season.

In 2018, Long has appeared in seven games for the Bears and Pro Football Focus rates him as the No. 30 overall guard out of 74 qualifying players.
