Bears Hoping To Have Two 1,000-Yard RB’s This Season

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, offensive coordinator Mike Tice reportedly told RB Michael Bush “that he wanted two 1,000-yard running backs” this season.

He said he wanted to do it,” said Bush, “and I said, ‘Well, you got the right two people.’

Even with an upgraded passing attack, the Bears still figure to run the ball quite often due to Tice’s offensive philosophy. Bush figures to be the goal-line running back, with RB Matt Forte carrying majority of the workload. While it’s a possibility, it seems like unlikely considering improved weapons that the Bears have this season.
