Jeremy Fowler of ESPN is reporting that the Bears are hosting free agent CB Marcus Cooper for a visit.
Cooper has been linked to the Steelers and Jets in recent days.
Cooper, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the 49ers back in 2013. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 49ers’ 53-man roster during his rookie season, but was later claimed off of waivers by the Chiefs.
Last year, the Chiefs traded Cooper to the Cardinals in return for a conditional 2018 seventh-round pick.
Cooper played out the final year of his four-year, $2.205 million contract and is now in a position to be an unrestricted free agent.
In 2016, Cooper appeared in 15 games for the Cardinals recorded 69 tackles, four interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown and 11 pass defenses.
