Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Bears are hosting free agent RB Benny Cunningham for a visit on Tuesday.
This will be the second meeting for Cunningham after he previously visited with the Jets a few weeks ago.
Cunningham, 25, wound up signing on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Middle Tennessee State back in 2013. He’s managed to make the 53-man roster each of his four years in the NFL.
Cunningham is now testing the open market for the first time in his career.
In 2016, Cunningham appeared in 11 games and rushed for 101 yards on 21 carries (4.8 YPC) to go along with 16 receptions for 91 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He also totaled 559 kick return yards.
