Bears LB D.J. Williams Out For The Season

Update:

Ian Rapoport reports that sources have informed him that Bears LB D.J. Williams is in fact out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle.

Bears HC Marc Trestman told reporters on Friday that there is a chance LB D.J. Williams is done for the year, per John Mullin.

  • Trestman added that they should know more in the next 24-48 hours.

Williams is reportedly dealing with a pectoral injury, which is a type of injury that Trestman referred to as being “dangerous.”

Chicago turned to second-round pick Jon Bostic in Williams’ absence last night, so there’s a good chance we could be seeing a lot more of him in the coming weeks.

We’ll have more regarding Williams’ injury as the news is available.
