Bears HC Matt Nagy announced Monday that OLB Sam Acho tore his pec and is out for the season, per Ian Rapoport.
You can expect the Bears to place him on injured reserve in the coming days and add someone to their roster.
Acho, 30, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2011. He spent four years in Arizona before he signed on with the Bears as an unrestricted free agent back April of 2015.
Acho played the past two seasons on one-year contracts with the Bears before agreeing to a to a two-year contract this offseason.
In 2018, Acho appeared in four games for the Bears and recorded one tackle and no sacks.
